Just Because

Look at this chinook sky. It looks like we are peeking through a slit but the dark over the light blue band is actually cloud. This is a classic chinook. It hangs over the city and brings warm temperatures.
I woke these girls up from their nap. I think they forgave me. I was a beautiful day in the country although the temperature wasn't warm, the sun still had some strength and we could feel the heat on our backs when we walked through the fields. Ginger loped along, eating road apples and smelling for mice. She was in fine fettle and reluctant to leave.

This is the most joyful face I have ever seen. As if she invented leaves.
