Family get together
It is always special when we get together. Loud, noisy, tons of food and drink. Lots of laughs and stories. We always rewind and revisit past events which for all the distance of time seem so much funnier.
Shelley turned 40 and we are happy to celebrate that event with her.
Flamingos on the lawn, tiki lamps and Hawaiian theme and food despite the snow.
So many bodies in one room warmed the house up fast, even though the temperature was -4C we had the door open.
Even Frodo the cat showed up for quick run through and changed her mind and beat it upstairs.
Babies sleeping in noisy hallways and kids hula dancing. George stayed home with his Dad and learned the basics of hockey game watching on Saturday night....a true Canadian tradition and much more fun when Mummy isn't home.
I can't wait for another event to get together with my family.

IMG_09571.3gp I told George that not only was I in the dulcimer club in grade 5 but I also played the French-Canadian spoons in grade 5. He didn't believe me, so I showed him. It blew his tiny mind. This is a video of him trying to copy that.
